Great use of perks to get customers in and trying Pact coffee. Also, quick link to the website is great. May recommend putting a quick link to their Facebook page as well, to help promote other social media sites.
COMPETITIONS
By analysing Pact’s Instagram, it is clear that their interaction with their followers is very minimal. For example, their use of imagery is based around products they have, recruitment and their new logo. Instagram’s aim is to connect people together. So in the case, by introducing weekly competitions, this will get Pact and their followers communicating with each other, also gaining publicity and the credibility Pact need for their freshly ground coffee. An example I put together follows as: 1) Introduce the competition – You got to be in it to win it! 2) Announce the prize – Free Cafeteria and a pack of selected freshly ground coffee 3) Instructions to enter – 1) Re-post picture. 2) Tag @PactcCoffee 3) Hashtag #PactCoffee and Tag up to three friends!
By following these instructions, there are many benefits to raise awareness for Pact. Firstly, by making Instagrammers re-post Pacts images, they are promoting Pact to their friends. Who doesn’t love free goodies? By sharing Pact’s competition image, this will encourage other users to take part. When friend ‘like’ and ‘share’ images, this come up in the ‘explore’ section on Instagram for hundreds of other Instagrammers to view! CHING-CHING!! So the more people post, the more publicity Pact gets!
Followers & Following
As you can see, Pact are just about hitting 3 thousand followers. For an online company based around social media, the more followers the company have, the better it looks! In relation to followers, Pact follow a small amount back. When a company follow back a follower on Instagram, it gives the follower a sense of satisfaction and recognition they which they feel good about. From personal experience, I can name times when a company have ‘liked’ my images and it’s a good feeling. To gain more followers, Pact should consider doing a ‘follow back’ scheme. So for the first 10 followers that follow Pact, Pact will follow back. Everyone loves a new follower, especially when it’s a top brand or company!
Posts
It is clear that Pact do not post regularly. This may result in a lack of followers and publicity they need. For a successful Instagram page, regular posts are required to gain the publicity they need.

One of the most vital aspects of Instagram is to get the followers involved and keep them posted with daily updates from the company, offers and eye catching images of their products and what the company has to offer. Using the hastags such as #PactCoffee, tagging @PactCoffee, also tagging friends in posts will boost up Pact’s publicity and credibility. By running the ‘Out with the old, In with the new’ scheme, this also allows members to get involved online and share their selfies with them and their new freshly ground instant coffee!
