inConclusion
I feel that I have gained a wider understanding of the Creative Director industry. I am really pleased with the results I received back from the Creative Directors by providing me with enough knowledge to complete my investigation.
Some of the things I have learnt are that working freelance does take up a lot of time, finding it hard to balance personal life and work life. This is something I wouldn’t want to go through whereby work over powers personal life because I find it important to balance both of them out. However, being a Creative Director is a very hand on job, having to reach people’s needs and briefs in a short amount of time. This has given me a wider perspective. Personally, I feel like my strongest point is coming up with ideas and using my creative understanding to apply within work but I find I it a bit more of a struggle creating what I have in mind. I am not the best of drawers which isn’t a major issue within the industry however it’s important to have clear understanding. Mind mapping and not going straight to a computer to start designing is a key point as well. From the answers I received its key to do a lot of development and generate many ideas before finalizing something.
If I had to change one thing, ill choose send out many more questionnaires to freelancers because they seem to give more thorough and personal answers
I have thoroughly enjoyed doing this investigation and talking to professionals within the Creative Director industry and aim to reach for goals.

inFrom the collected data that has been presented in the excel grid, it has allowed me to get a clear understanding of the feedback from the Creative Directors answers. From this I have produced a quantitative data chart, inspired by a ‘colour circle wheel’ inside the Research and Design section within the Visual Research 2nd Edition book. Starting from the middle, the small red circles indicate how many people I had contacted. These layers are repeated 4 times representing the same people. However, each colour has a different meaning, making the chart interesting to read. The 2nd layer of circles, (mainly orange), indicate the form of contact. Most people were contacted via E-mail because the Creative Directors contact details were mainly E-mails provided. Two people were contacted through websites, 4 people via twitter and finally 2 people by phone. Some people were contacted twice from different forms of contact. I thought this would play an affect to receiving back some answers if you keep on ‘pestering’. Overall, I managed to get 4 great responses back via E-mail within the space of two days. Two even came back within an hour. When I first sent my questionnaires out, I sent them to Creative Directors who worked within industries. I was waiting a long time to receive replies. So after analyzing what I may need to change, I was given advice by fellow peers to send interviews to freelancers! The only replied I received were from freelancers.

The use of colour in Graphic Design
From this, I have learnt that the visual effect of space in imaging maximises the effect it has towards the audience, possibly making it more eye catching and effective. On the second image, the top right picture (stated number 46), created by Katherine McCoy for the cover of Cranbrook Academy of Art catalogue, 1983 , I particularly like the pastel colours she uses within the design, keeping the design minimal. I like her style and this has inspired me to create my poster designs along the lines of the same way she has.
